About
Chloe Tucker (she/her) is an artist and illustrator from Rhode Island. She has a BFA in Illustration from Lesley University College of Art and Design in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She recently earned an MFA in Visual Studies at Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland, Oregon.
Chloe enjoys working in multiple mediums such as printmaking, installation, digital media, and painting, and is always open to trying new processes and mediums. Painting has been her main medium of choice, and enjoys trying varied techniques and methods while applying color theory to creating visually engaging work.
Her work is influenced greatly by surrealist painters and illustrators, exploring reality but creating her own interpretation of it based on personal anecdote and current events. A key focus in her work lately has been topics of our environmental crisis and apocalypse. She enjoys employing color and humor as vehicles of expression in her work.
